February to April 2025
BIGHEAD Comedy presents a series of work-in-progress performances of our upcoming productions as part of Pleasance Theatre in London's Work-In-Progress Season.
Pedro Leandro
7th February
A work-in-progress of the debut show from Pedro Leandro, a comedian who has famously been described as “magnetic” (Guardian) and “a beautiful bright-eyed joy” (Everything Theatre). Sadly, he has found this praise to be insufficient. Standing atop the lonely Everest of his innumerable achievements, he invites his audience to reflect: will it, can it, ever be enough?
A BAFTA might do the trick. It certainly won’t hurt.

Kate Cheka

Last year Kate Cheka attempted to save the world, now she thinks maybe it is time to burn it all down. Everything good seems to be falling apart, funding for everything is being cut. We are living in the apocalypse.
In the face of this precarious future, the reigning (and possibly final) Funny Women Stage Award winner wonders should she just have married her teenage boyfriend and lived on his farm instead of trying to be an independent fearless woman.

Introducing Anna Hale: This is a person well and truly in control. She’s written the jokes and the music and the lyrics. She’s rigged the lights and sold the tickets, designed the costume and run the sound check. But what happens to a control freak when the world is out of control?
With a bunch of original songs and 'undeniable vocal pyrotechnics' (Chortle), this glitzy debut from the Musical Comedy Awards 2024 'Audience Favourite' and runner-up promises a riotous comedic journey.

Airing the dirty laundry in a dark solo character comedy and clown hour created by 2024 Sketch Off finalist and host of late-night cult hit cabaret Hot Boys Bathhouse, Ozzy Algar.
Rosa Garland

Rosa Garland is a critically acclaimed clown who likes slime. She is the brain and body behind the sell-out queer cult hit Trash Salad (Soho Theatre, Pleasance).
This is a new WIP for people who want to see what happens when a clown explores kink, but don't necessarily want to date Rosa to find out. If you fancy her you should defo still come tho.
Cabbage The Clown

A work-in-progress debut show from multi award-winning drag star Cabbage The Clown.
The winner of NADC and Top of the Slops presents their first ever full work-in-progress performance of their upcoming debut comedy show. Cabbage The Clown has garnered over 6 million views across social media for their hilarious and unique drag performances across the country, including their work as everything from a living Twister mat to one of The Sims to Tracy Beaker and more.
